The Skyline Pro 2 and Phantom X Pro 2 sticks are built on the same advanced ACL-Ti Fusion™ composite platform. This ensures the same premium material quality, durability, and consistent performance for both models – regardless of shaft shape or kick point profile.

24K Carbon Fiber
The construction of both sticks is based on aerospace-standard 24K carbon fiber. The larger fiber bundle size improves impact resistance and structural stability while maintaining an exceptionally light overall weight.

The result is excellent stiffness, torsional rigidity, and efficient energy transfer, ensuring the stick maintains its original feel and performance for a long time, even with heavy use.

Titanium Reinforcement
In the ACL-Ti Fusion™ construction, titanium is not used as solid components but as microscopic titanium filaments laminated into selected carbon fiber layers.

Titanium filaments are precisely placed in the most stressed areas of the stick – such as the lower shaft, taper, and blade connection area – to reinforce the structure exactly where it is most needed.

Together with carbon fiber, they improve fatigue resistance, slow down crack propagation, and increase the stick's lifespan without compromising its flex properties or light weight.

3M Aerospace Epoxy Resin
The composite structure is bonded together with 3M aerospace-grade epoxy resin, manufactured in Minnesota, USA.

The high-quality resin system ensures even saturation of the carbon fibers and a very strong bond between the carbon fiber and titanium-reinforced layers. This reduces internal impurities and variations during manufacturing, ensuring that each stick offers consistent flex properties, excellent structural strength, and long-lasting performance.

Both the Skyline Pro 2 and Phantom X Pro 2 sticks use the same stiff, performance-optimized blade construction. The updated resin-based construction combined with a denser foam core improves the stick's balance, provides a consistent shot feel, and maintains the blade's stiffness even with long-term use.

The blade is made from the same premium material combination as the stick shaft: 24K carbon fiber, titanium-reinforced ACL-Ti Fusion™ construction, and 3M aerospace epoxy resin, manufactured in Minnesota, USA.

Quad X Taper™ – Maximum Stability and Control
The Quad X Taper™ (QXT) is a square-shaft based taper construction designed to provide maximum stability and repeatable performance with every shot.

Thanks to the square geometry, the four flat sides of the shaft effectively resist twisting during the loading and release phases of a shot. This keeps the blade in the correct position throughout the entire shooting motion, improving shot accuracy and repeatability.

The QXT construction concentrates stiffness in the mid-kick area, allowing the shaft to load controllably and predictably even in powerful shots. At the same time, it minimizes shaft rotation and structural deformation, resulting in a stable and reliable shot from one situation to another.

Swift Arc™ – Natural Grip, Faster Shot
Swift Arc™ is a full-shaft geometry designed to improve stick feel, stability, and energy transfer. It's not just a taper construction or grip area, but a unified design that extends from the top of the shaft all the way to the taper.

The upper part of the shaft uses a hybrid profile with rounded walls on the palm side and straighter surfaces on the finger side. This creates a natural and secure grip for both hands and makes the stick stable to handle in all playing situations.

Moving further down, the shaft's shape gradually becomes deeper and more curved. This efficiently guides the force of the hands to the taper area, allowing the shaft to load controllably and energy to transfer seamlessly to the blade at the moment of the shot.

The Swift Arc™ geometry, continuous throughout the entire shaft, increases torsional rigidity, reduces unwanted twisting, and provides a consistent feel regardless of where the player grips the shaft.

Warranty
KYC Sports grants a limited warranty for composite ice hockey sticks, covering only proven manufacturing and material defects. The warranty period is determined by the stick model.

45-Day Warranty
The following models have a 45-day warranty from the date of product delivery:

Skyline Pro 2
Phantom X Pro 2

Exception: For 330-gram Custom sticks, the warranty period is 30 days, as the extremely lightweight construction is manufactured individually according to customer orders.

 

30-Day Warranty
The following models have a 30-day warranty from the date of delivery:

All LT models (Senior, Intermediate, Junior, and Youth)
Clearance items
Clearance products are sold as-is and do not come with a standard warranty.

If a manufacturing defect is found in a clearance product, KYC Sports may, at its discretion, issue a 50% discount code for a future purchase. The availability of a refund depends on the product's inventory status, as clearance products are often available in limited quantities.

 

Warranty Limitations
The warranty does not cover the following situations:

Damage caused by misuse, careless use, or exceptionally strong impacts outside of normal play.
Damage caused by stick-on-stick impacts, hitting situations, or striking boards, posts, or other game equipment.
Damage resulting from incorrect storage or exposure to extreme temperatures.
Wear and tear resulting from normal product use.
Cosmetic damage, such as scratches or surface damage, that does not affect the stick's performance or structure.

Blade Wear
An ice hockey stick blade naturally wears down during use. Blade cracks, chips, or other signs of wear and tear resulting from normal play are not manufacturing defects and are not covered under warranty.

 

 

Making a Warranty Claim

Clear photographs of the product, including:

A full-stick photograph.

Close-up photographs of the damaged or defective area.

A photograph of the serial number found on the back of the stick

All warranty claims will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and their approval will be decided by the importer (Mailapaja) in conjunction with Kyc Sports, in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty terms.
